Product Features
This putty is suitable for repair in the powder spraying process. It has quick construction, strong powder absorption power, relatively fine putty quality, is easy to apply and scrape, easy to sand, has good filling properties, good vertical construction without sagging. The coating film is smooth and delicate, and the coating structure is fine and dense. It is resistant to high temperatures (it can withstand a high temperature of 245°C without cracking, blistering or falling off). After fine grinding, there will be no contact marks on the edges. It is an excellent supporting product in the powder spraying industry and can meet the smooth effect of powder primers and topcoats.
Construction Scope
It is suitable for various metals (such as bare iron, stainless steel, aluminum, galvanized sheet, etc.), glass fiber reinforced plastics, old paint films, and various two-component primer surfaces. It is especially suitable for the powder spraying industry that requires high-temperature baking.

Construction Reference
- Mix the main putty and curing agent at a ratio of 100:1-2 (to make the colors consistent), and use it up within the gel time. The construction time can be about 3 minutes, and dry grinding can be carried out within 20 minutes.
- Apply the prepared alloy gypsum on the polished two-component primer or the prepared sheet metal surface. If a thick coating is required, it is best to apply it in several thin layers to the required thickness. If air bubbles penetrate during application, they must be completely scraped open with a scraper to ensure good adhesion. Baking can be carried out 6 hours after application. For the assembly line process, the baking temperature is around 200°C. Baking can be carried out 2 hours after dry grinding.
Matters needing attention:
- Once the putty is mixed with the curing agent, it will solidify easily and cannot be poured back into the can. After use, the lid should be tightly closed immediately to prevent the main putty from deteriorating due to the volatilization of the solvent.
- The proportion of the curing agent can be adjusted, but the minimum dosage should not be less than 1%.
- This product cannot be used on the surface of corrosive paints, synthetic resins or nitrocellulose primers, and one-component acrylic primers.
- The storage period is 12 months.
Which is better putty or primer?
Putty and primer have different uses and properties
For example, the putty and primer used on metal parts are completely different in use and performance
The main purpose of putty used for metal parts is to fill up the uneven places, and the metal surface will be more smooth after painting. The primer used for metal parts is used to prevent corrosion and rust, isolate the metal surface from the air, reduce the oxidation of metal in the air, and achieve the performance of corrosion and rust prevention
