White coatings have high sunlight reflectivity and radiant cooling capacity. After painting, the total reflectivity of sunlight can reach 96%, of which the infrared reflectivity of 8~13 micron wavelength can reach more than 93.5%. At the same time, the coating can radiate heat to the surroundings at a high power of 100 watts per square meter.

The effect of the comparative test is very significant. The typical experimental environment set by the research team is 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with direct sunlight outside. The widely used titanium white paint covers models with surface temperatures above ambient temperatures, zui as high as 6.3°C, and average 3.6°C higher. The surface temperature of the model sprayed with energy-saving paint is lower than the ambient temperature, and the zui height is reduced by 8.8°C, and the average reduction is 5.5°C.
