To take advantage of the performance of luminous coatings, it is necessary to achieve complete and correct application. The following are the precautions for construction:
(1) Understand the performance of luminous coating according to the prescribed method: If it is a professional construction: it is recommended to spray the first to second layers of polymer coating agent on the bottom layer and the finished paint film, so as to enhance adhesion, weather resistance and paint life.
(2) Complete surface treatment: the appropriateness of the surface treatment has a great impact on the performance and life of the paint film, so it is necessary to completely remove foreign matter such as rust and grease and fully dry before the construction brushing.
(3) Luminous coating should be fully stirred evenly: luminous coating is a mixture of pigment, resin liquid and luminous powder, from manufacturing to use, there may be a period of time, and it is inevitable that there will be pigment, or luminous powder separation and precipitation, so it should be fully stirred before use.
(4) The thickness of the brush should not be too thick: if the thickness of the brush is too thick, it is easy to produce diarrhea, wrinkling and other phenomena. Therefore, it is necessary to do proper control and do multi-layer coating construction.
(5) When coating the layer, the next layer of paint should be dried before construction: when doing the laminated coating, when the following layer of paint film is not dry, it is easy to wrinkle or even infiltrate the bottom paint and peel off. Therefore, the upper coat of paint should be applied only after the lower coat dries through.
(6) Avoid construction in low temperature and humid climate: when the temperature drops below 5 °C, the dryness of the paint will be greatly reduced, and when the humidity is above 85RH%, fog, light reduction, and even affect adhesion, so construction should be avoided in this situation.
(7) Remove dust as much as possible: dust will not only affect the performance of the paint film, but also damage the beauty, so remove it as much as possible.
(8) Angle iron screws and other joints should be coated work: angle iron joints, welding or screws and other parts, because it is not easy to achieve complete construction, should do coating work to make up, and pay attention to avoid omissions, uneven painting and other situations.
(9) Pay attention to the amount of thinning agent shall not be arbitrarily added to the drying agent: if the paint is too thick and need to add thinning agent, pay attention to its amount of preparation, shall not affect the hiding power and paint film thickness, the general situation is not more than 5% as the principle. Although the drying agent can promote the dryness of the paint, the excessive drying agent can easily lead to the phenomenon that the surface is not dry, and it remains in the paint film after drying to continue to promote the aging of the paint film.
(10) Fast drying: can be heated and dried at 65 °C± 5 °C, and the drying time is about 6-10 minutes.
